INTERESTS :
i love all kinds of mecha but lmobile suit gundaml is my special interest and it’s very important to me. i write and read a lot of sci-fi and i refuse to shut up about lo'niell cylinders.l my favorite authors and writing inspiration are lalistair reynolds, neal asher, ken macleod and william gibson.l if you’re a polity universe or revelation space/revenger trilogy fan we are automatically friends. i’m a leftist and an anticapitalist, most of my media critique/analysis is through that lens. i also love to ramble about lfallout, pathologic, evangelion, star wars, pacific rim, giant robo and transformers.l
PROJECTS AND OTHER COOL STUFF :
lwriting:l an alt-canon/post-canon uc gundam fanfiction where garma zabi survives (you can read it here), a post-canon g gundam fic about kyoji and the devil gundam (not posted yet, this one’s still a secret hehe), a couple of uc side stories about my ocs who i really need to start posting info about, and a few original novel projects… more to come about those, too! lgunpla:l the mg wing zero (endless waltz) and the hg pharact, i post progress pics/detail close-ups on my twitter (...when i remember to). i’m also working on organizing my art/gunpla portfolio, and sharing info about my original stories and characters. studying for my astrophysics degree, too! (buried in homework 24/7 lmao)
ABOUT ME :
as the name implies, i really like to draw robots! i also build/paint gunpla, write scifi and i'm an undergrad astrophysics student! i'm trans and autistic; mobile suit gundam has been my special interest for the past four years. i love pretty much all the shows/timelines, but the uc sequence (specifcally 0079) is very special to me, and i'm currently hyperfixated on g gundam. i'm still a bit of a beginner with gunpla, but i love to paint details on my models (i'm incapable of building things out of the box) and experiment with kitbashing and scratchbuilding. as for art, i primarily do digital painting in photoshop, but i love watercolor as well!
i post a lot about gundam (warning for spoilers for the majority of gundam shows as I have seen A Lot of them), occasionally analysis, frequently unhinged. my favorite characters who live in my brain rent-free and i want to examine under a microscope are kyoji, char aznable, garma and sayla! my discord is fullmetal_maniac if you'd like to be deranged about gundam with me!
i take commissions and i'm down to draw pretty much anything :) i'm a chronically ill college student so all the money i make goes towards my tuition and medical bills. i'd like to sell some of my painted gunpla/take gunpla commissions, but I'm still figuring out how exactly to do that. i'm working on putting together a proper portfolio of my work (both fanart and original projects).
